A 2-0 win over Newcastle at Wembley brought United’s first trophy in six years and Ten Hag’s first since he took over 10 months ago.

The Dutchman spoke enthusiastically about his love for United after the match, and he followed that up on Monday by writing to fans to express how much he values ​​their support.

“I wanted to take the time to address you directly this morning,” Ten Hag wrote. “When I arrived at the club, we talked about the challenge and the importance of bringing this group of players together with our incredible fans.

Ten Hag said the team are fully focused on their FA Cup tie on Wednesday after the win.
