Abigail Breslin, 26, took to Instagram on Sunday to share a sweet tribute to her father, who passed away two years ago at age 78 from complications from Covid.
The Little Miss Sunshine star, who tied the knot last month, honored the memory of her late father, Michael Breslin, with a loving caption.
Abigail wrote: ‘Impossible to believe that 2 full years have passed since you left this world for heaven. While I miss you every day, today I miss you a little more.
“I miss his humor (he was the king of dad jokes guys), his incessant phone calls that used to annoy me, his terrible texting skills, and most of all I miss YOU, dad and I always will.” Abigail wrote along with a photo of her dad.
Breslin continued: “Thank you for the little signs you sent me today to remind me that while you may not be physically here, you will never really be gone.”

In January, Abigail announced that she had married her longtime love, Ira Kunyansky.
The star, who got engaged to Kunyansky last year, announced the happy news with a snap of her stunning wedding ring with the caption: “Your girl married everyone.”
Meanwhile, her new husband shared a photo from the wedding ceremony on his Instagram account.
“Love my other half ❤️ @abbienormal9,” she captioned the post.
Abigail dazzled in a gorgeous white gown with a bodycon top, dramatic tulle sleeves, and a princess bottom, while Ira could be seen in a black tuxedo behind her.
The beauty’s blonde locks were styled in light curls, with a braided crown gracing the back of her head.
Ira also took to her Stories to repost several photos and a video taken by her guests that showed them kissing at the altar and their first dance.

In a couple of heartwarming images, Abigail could be seen hugging Ira on the beach and showing off her new ring for the camera. ‘She said yes!’ he captioned the snap.
Abigail rose to fame in 2006 when she starred in the film Little Miss Sunshine, for which she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress at age 10.
