Scarlett Moffatt took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday to document her trip to London to watch her beloved Newcastle United play Manchester United.

The pregnant presenter, 32, joined her Gogglebox co-star, her father, Mark, in a luxury box at Wembley Stadium, where they met Declan Donnelly.

Her team was defeated in the Carabao Cup final, however Scarlett remained jovial, stating that her weekend in the capital had been “incredible”.

Sharing a bedtime selfie with a stuffed toy, she wrote: “We may not have won but what an amazing weekend with my dad that I will remember forever.”

The couple announced they were expecting their first child last week, but Police Officer Scott isn’t planning on taking a knee anytime soon.

The TV personality met Scott 15 years ago and they have been in a relationship for four years.

But the officer admitted that he feels he can’t propose now because people will assume he only did it because they’re having a baby.

Scott, 37, said that for a long time, even before the pregnancy, he was fed up with most of his social media posts attracting endless comments asking when he would ask his TV star girlfriend to get married. .

Scott, speaking on her Scarlett Moffatt Wants to Believe podcast, said: “Now I can’t physically ask her to marry me because you’re pregnant; people (will) be like ‘it’s an escape’.”

Scott said that couples in love can really feel like the time is right once they have had their first baby after not previously choosing to get married even though they really were in love with each other.
