Viewers at the 29th Screen Actors Guild Awards claimed to have noticed an awkward exchange between Zendaya and Paul Mescal on Sunday.
The actress, 26, appeared to deflect the 27-year-old actor’s offer of a gentlemanly arm as the co-hosts took the stage.
She ignored him and headed upstairs alone after refusing his attempt to accompany her, leaving him fumbling for her words as he read from a teleprompter.
Fans who watched the show went online to express their amusement after noticing the embarrassing moment.

Zendaya was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Euphoria, but lost to The White Lotus’ Jennifer Coolidge.
The Euphoria star had She swapped out her romantic pale pink Valentino gown for an art deco Armani Privé gown.
It featured a bold front cut with shades of pale blue, pink, and black.

She showed off her slender figure with the striking Valentino number covered with fabric roses of various sizes in the same hue.
Zendaya’s cotton candy color number was paired with a striking diamond necklace that included emerald, ruby, and amethyst gemstones.
The design was custom made for her by creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli and she was styled by Law Roach.
She styled her short locks in waves, channeling old Hollywood stars.
The 29th Screen Actors Guild Awards took place at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Century City, California and was streamed live on Netflix’s YouTube channel.
The Banshees Of Inisherin and Everything Everywhere All At Once were among the most nominated feature films.

Among the television nominees, Better Call Saul and Ozark earned multiple nominations.
The Banshees Of Inisherin, Martin McDonagh’s film about the broken friendship of two Irish men during the Irish civil war, earned a nomination for Best Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
There were also individual nominations for Colin Farrell in the Male Lead category and Brendan Gleeson and Barry Keoghan in the Supporting Actor category.
Kerry Condon was also nominated in the supporting actress category.
Michelle Yeoh, starring in Everything Everywhere All At Once, which has grossed over $100 million on a budget of just $14 million, was also a hit with SAG voters.
Yeoh, who made a career comeback with Everything Everywhere All At Once, was nominated for Best Lead Actress.
The event honored acting legend Sally Field with the SAG Life Achievement Award for her work spanning more than five decades and earned more than 70 acting credits.
In addition to Zendaya and Mescal, other presenters included Ariana DeBose, fresh off her viral BAFTA rap, as well as Aubrey Plaza, Jenna Ortega and Amy Poehler.
So were Eugene Levy, Jason Bateman, Jeff Bridges, Adam Scott and Matt Bomer, as well as SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher.
