Amy Childs has defended Molly-Mae Hague from online trolls who criticized her for returning to exercise shortly after giving birth to her daughter.

“It’s definitely something I’ll be coming back to in the next few months after the twins arrive. At the end of the day, I could have a C-section and I’m not recommended to exercise for 12 weeks. ‘

Amy added that if Molly-Mae has been cleared by her doctors to return to the gym, then she doesn’t see what the problem is.

Despite the negativity, the star expressed how much she loved the moniker, revealing that it was ‘beautiful’ and ‘unique’, and that the influencer had loved the name for years.

She explained: ‘The name reveal was a tough day for me. I disabled Instagram comments on that post. I was brought back down to earth very quickly from how disgusting this world can be.

“Because we literally knew our first girl was going to be named Bambi, we had gotten so used to the idea that that would be her name and it wasn’t that unusual for us anymore.”
