Off the air and on vacation, TJ Holmes and Amy Robach look loved up and relaxed as they stroll along the sand in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
In these images obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, the former GMA 3 co-hosts turned lovers enjoy their second week in the idyllic resort town on Mexico’s Pacific coast.
Robach accessorized her skimpy yellow crochet bikini with the $650 David Yurman engagement ring dangling on a $350 Tiffany chain that Holmes bought for her 50th birthday earlier in the month.
TJ Holmes and Amy Robach appeared as loving as ever on vacation in Mexico this week, where Holmes couldn’t keep his hands off his lover and was seen giving him a playful squeeze on the behind.
The two were seen enjoying the second week of their trip in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on Thursday, nearly a month after they were fired from ABC.
Robach showed off her fit figure in a skimpy yellow crochet top, bikini and accessorized with the $650 David Yurman promise ring dangling on a $300 Tiffany chain that Holmes bought for her 50th birthday earlier in the month.
Holmes, 45, carried two cream-colored handbags and accessorized her low-rise black shorts with sunglasses and a Cheshire cat grin.
Seemingly unable to keep his hands off his lover, he playfully squeezed Robach’s behind as they walked side by side in what has become something of a signature butt-patting lothario move from the morning show.
Later, the couple enjoyed a romantic dinner at a cheesy venue where they drank and kissed under the gaze of a wide-eyed plastic pink flamingo.
Holmes was wearing chino pants and a sleeveless black T-shirt. Robach paired a high-waisted floral skirt with a plunging V-neck top. He carried a small black bag and neutral sandals as the couple made their way to the sand in the soft light of sunset.
Their affair, exposed by DailyMail.com in November, has cost them both their marriages and their ABC contracts, with each ending their GMA3 tenure with severance payments last month.
The couple hasn’t let the drama and scandal deter them from taking several vacations.
The ousted GMA-turned-lovers co-hosts looked carefree as they basked in the sun on the arena, nearly a month after they were fired from ABC.
DailyMail.com has learned that Robach’s divorce from former Melrose Place actor Andrew Shue, 56, is nearing finality, while Holmes has filed for divorce from lawyer Marilee Feibig, 45, with whom he has a daughter. nine years old, last month.
Many had doubted the couple would weather the turmoil that erupted around their departure last year.
But, speaking last week, a friend of the couple told DailyMai.com: “TJ and Amy are more in love than ever.”
They added: “It’s kind of proof of how committed they are to each other that they weathered this shit storm after their secret love affair was exposed.”
“They were suspended from GMA3 and then waited agonizing weeks while ABC kept them in limbo about their future.
But don’t forget that TJ and Amy were friends long before they were lovers. Their relationship started with a terrifyingly strong bond that, up to this point, has only become, well, more.
That strong bond of friendship was one that their ex-spouses thought they shared as well.
Robach helped get Holmes’s marriage back on track following an earlier affair with GMA producer Natasha Singh, a woman who considered her a close friend.
And Holmes referred to Shue as his ‘brother’ during a now embarrassing GMA3 segment when Robach and Shue appeared together to promote their newly published book, ‘Better Together’. The children’s picture book was designed to chronicle the challenges of what was later heralded as the successful merger of their two families, as each came to marriage with offspring from the one before.
Robach had two daughters from his first marriage, and Shue had three sons from his.
