A travel influencer was forced to go into hiding after a deranged stalker bombarded her with hundreds of sick threats before flying to Bali and turning up near her street.

American Alexandra Saper, 31, had been living a glamorous life on the Indonesian island after leaving her job as a high-flying lawyer in Washington DC in 2018 to produce lifestyle content for her followers.

But her world was turned upside down by a sinister man in the UK who started sending ‘obsessive’ messages and videos about a year ago.

Ms Saper told Daily Mail Australia that the messages were initially affectionate but then became progressively darker, including threats of “graphic physical and sexual violence”.

In a terrifying escalation, she flew around the world under the illusion that her Instagram posts were “coded messages” calling out to her.

In reality, the social media star who calls herself The Wayfaress, does not know the man and has never responded to him.

“You make my body go absolutely crazy,” one message read.

‘I’m going to spend the rest of my life with you. If that includes kidnapping, so be it.

I’m going to get to that island as soon as I can. This process is out of control.

Disturbingly, he also mocked her, saying he was “immune” to getting caught because “I’m an educated British white man.”

Last week, a terrified Ms Saper told her army of followers in an Instagram video that she had fled the island to an undisclosed location that put her online business on hold after the man posted a photo of himself. himself on a street in Bali near his house.

“I feel safer now that I’m away hiding from this man, but that’s just a temporary solution,” she said.

“I still have anxiety attacks (which I’ve never had before) where my body is totally dominated by fear.”

Ms Saper, who also works as a female empowerment coach mentoring young women, admits she now feels too scared to go out in public or be only.

She is furious that despite reporting the threats to the authorities in Bali, the UK and the US, her stalker is still free to harass her.

“It’s not right to expect women to wait until it’s too late to be taken seriously,” she said.

The world traveler is furious that despite reporting the threats to authorities in Bali, the UK and the US, her stalker is still free to harass her.

“Justice requires that this man be arrested, immediately, for the clear crimes he has committed in various countries and the danger he represents to all women.

I hope I can never go back to Indonesia. And I will do everything I can to ensure that he is arrested by the time he returns to the UK and is secluded from society for a long time.
