Rabid fans of Harry Styles have been lining up outside his concert at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium since 4am after ignoring the venue’s strict warnings, with some queuing for an incredible 32 hours.

Despite being warned not to start queuing before 9am at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium for British pop star Harry Styles’ concert tonight, fans did not listen.

Huge queues began to form from the stadium to Southern Cross station from 4am on Friday morning before their first concert began that night.

Fans clad in sequins and feather boas were eager to start queuing early for a good spot in the general admission standing section to see the massive star.

9News reported that some enthusiastic fans had even started lining up for more than 32 hours before the doors opened for the concert at 11 a.m. Thursday.

“I got here at 11am yesterday so I’ll have been here for a day and a half,” a fan told the station.

This is despite Marvel stadium bosses warning that queuing was prohibited before 9am on Friday and that they had strict queuing procedures in place.

However, organizers are believed to have been encouraged by respectful lines at their merchandise lines at the Docklands site on Thursday.

Marvel Stadium spokesman Jay Allen said Thursday that a strict queuing procedure would be in place for both nights of the concert.
