Paul Scholes believes Casemiro is a carbon copy of former Manchester United captain Roy Keane, hailing the midfielder for a “brilliant” start at Old Trafford.
‘I’ve heard so many times, too, that’s [Casemiro] he’s probably the best holding midfielder too,” Scholes told United’s website. “I don’t see him as a holding midfielder. He is a Manchester United midfielder as he should be, he gets into everything. You see him on the field, you see him defending, you see him controlling the game at times.
It’s probably as close to Roy Keane as you’re going to get. I think he has been brilliant.
