The fashion designer who lost her luggage at the airport claims that Sam Brinton used her clothes

A Houston-based Tanzanian fashion designer has accused President Biden’s former non-binary nuclear waste guru Sam Brinton of wearing her custom-made outfits that disappeared with her luggage in 2018 at a Washington, DC airport.

asya khamsin tweeted the claim on Monday she shared photos of herself wearing one of her outfits alongside a photo that surfaced of Brinton in what she believes to be the same.

Khamsin reported that her luggage went missing after she went missing from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on March 9, 2018. Her clothing was never recovered and the case was never solved.

But then his unique designs suddenly appeared in Brinton in recent news reports, amid allegations of baggage theft at other airports. So, he filed a complaint with the Houston Police Department in December.

Brinton was fired from his Department of Energy (DOE) position after multiple theft allegations last year.

khamsin said Fox Digital News in a recent interview he acknowledged his designs on Brinton, who had been prominent on the news cycle.

‘I saw the pictures. Those were my custom designs, which got lost in that bag in 2018,” she said. I was wearing my clothes, which were stolen from me.

Khamsin’s luggage containing the outfits in which she accused Brinton of being photographed in disappeared at the airport when she flew to Washington, DC in 2018 for an event.

The outfits were meant to be on display, but Khamsin said he was unable to participate in the event after they disappeared.

Khamsin filed a police report with the Washington Metropolitan Airports Authority Police Department, as well as a complaint with Delta Air Lines, as she pleaded with the airlines to help her locate her missing bag of expensive clothing and jewelry.

When Brinton’s photos appeared on the news, Khamsin became convinced that they were wearing the clothes he had lost at the airport.

Khamsin then filed a complaint with the Houston Police Department on December 16 and spoke to the FBI about the investigation, but as of this week, Brinton has not been charged with any crimes related to Khamsin’s claims.

Last week, Brinton walked out of a Minnesota courthouse after a preliminary hearing on charges of baggage theft in a separate incident. They You could face up to five years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine if convicted.

According to the complaint, Brinton removed a luggage tag from a woman and left with the bag in Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport on September 16. Items inside were appraised at $2,325.

American Airlines later confirmed that Brinton had not checked a bag on her flight from Washington, DC. The victim was shown footage of Brinton with the suitcase, which she confirmed was her luggage. Brinton was ordered not to have any contact with the victim.

The judge referred to Brinton as Mx Brinton. Mx is a common gender-neutral title for non-binary people who don’t want a gender referenced in their title.

Freelance photojournalist Rebecca Brannon recorded Brinton leaving court. They ignored the reporter’s questions, including: ‘Why would you want a lady’s laundry?’

Another reporter asked if Brinton was there for a job interview with Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s administration.

Another asked if they had visited “Larry Craig’s bathroom,” a reference to former Republican Sen. Larry Craig, who was arrested for lewd conduct in a bathroom in Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport in 2007.

When Brinton returned to the nation’s capital two days after the alleged robbery of which they are accused, the bag was searched as if it were his. The nuclear scientist then used the bag on a trip to Europe in October.

Brinton was contacted by investigators and initially lied that the bag had not been taken. They later admitted to the crime, but claimed it was an accident.

They also said the woman’s clothing had been left in a hotel room in St. Paul, however it was never recovered.

In a separate incident, Brinton is accused of stealing another woman’s luggage at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.

They appeared in court in December on those charges, then were released on $15,000 bond.

The $320 case, which was lifted from a carousel, was packed with more than $3,000 worth of jewelry, clothing and makeup, investigators said.

Originally, the hearing was supposed to take place on December 19. A few days before that original date, the Department of Energy fired Brinton.

A spokesperson said: ‘Sam Brinton is no longer an employee of the DOE. By law, the Department of Energy cannot comment further on personnel matters.

It is unclear if Brinton resigned of their own free will, if they were fired, or if they were given a chance to resign before being fired.

The White House has repeatedly refused to comment on the scandal, saying it is a non-political issue.

The Department of Energy has also tried to distance Biden from the issue.

Brinton was appointed in June with much fanfare.

“Sam is also a well-known advocate for LGBTQ youth and has helped ensure protection against the dangerous and discredited practice of conversion therapy in more than half the country,” he said.

“They identify as gender fluid and use the pronouns they, they, and theirs,” her bio reads.

In addition to working at the Department of Energy, they also conducted seminars, including a recent event on spanking.

Brinton lives in Washington, DC with her husband.
