Khloe Kardashian is being sued by a former domestic helper who claims she was fired after returning from a leave taken to recover from a leg injury.
The former assistant, Matthew Manhard, claims in his lawsuit that he started working for Khloe in 2019 before he was allegedly fired in November 2022, according to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ.
Manhard claims he informed Khloe, 38, that he was unable to work after sustaining a knee injury in May 2022. However, when he tried to return to work in November, Manhard claims he was fired.
During his employment, Manhard also alleged that he was often so busy completing tasks for Khloe that he was unable to take legally required breaks.
This lawsuit comes just days after it emerged that Khloe’s fashion line, Good American, was also being sued.

Manhard also claims that she avoided paying him overtime despite the fact that he often worked 12-hour days.
DailyMail.com has reached out to a representative for Khloe for comment on the lawsuit.
Khloe’s team responded and denied Manhard’s claims.
‘It is unfortunate to know that a former employee would choose to go down this path. Matthew was duly classified and compensated for the role of him,” Khloe’s legal representative told TMZ.
Addressing the leave Manhard took, the rep said, “Towards the end of her employment, she was on a leave of absence for an extended period of time and the position eventually had to be replaced.” We will not tolerate false accusations and will show that this is a frivolous lawsuit.’
Manhard is seeking monetary compensation from Khloe, alleging that she violated numerous California employment laws.
This is just the latest lawsuit filed in relation to Khloe.
Earlier this month, news broke that a model had sued Khloe’s Good American fashion line for just over $100,0000 alleging they failed to pay her on time.
Fighting back: “We will not tolerate false accusations and will show that this is a frivolous lawsuit,” Khloe’s legal representative said of the lawsuit.
Another legal fight: Earlier this month, a model sued Khloe’s Good American fashion line for just over $100,0000 alleging they didn’t pay her on time.
The model, Jourdan Whitehead, alleges she was paid $3,500 for the day of work she completed on Nov. 17, 2021, according to court documents obtained by The explosion.
She alleges that she was scheduled to receive her paycheck by December 10, 2021, but did not receive payment for another three months, on March 11, 2022.
Whitehead, who describes herself in the filing as a “professional actor,” is now suing the company for a late payment penalty.
Whitehead says he is now entitled to a late payment penalty under California Labor Code 203, alleging that Good American “did not pay on time.” [her] his salary was voluntary in that [Good American] he was required to make the payment on time, he was able to, but chose not to.’
The legal documents state that section 203 of the Labor Code provides that if an employer fails to make timely payment of wages, the employee’s wages will continue as a penalty until paid or for a period of up to 30 days from the time they are paid. wages were due, whatever the period. expires,” reports The Blast.
Since she was compensated more than 30 days after the expected payment date, Whitehead says that she “is entitled to penalties in the amount of $105,000.00, which is [her] daily rate multiplied by 30 days.’
