Kylie Jenner Gets Candid About Her Twice Battle With Postpartum Depression

Kylie Jenner has spoken twice about battling postpartum depression when she offered advice to new moms who are also battling the same condition.

Jenner, 25, who has daughter Stormi, five, and son Aire, one, with ex Travis Scott, called her first fight with the condition “very difficult” in a candid interview with vanity fair italy.

While the second time she battled it was “more manageable,” she acknowledged how “painful” the condition can be and advised other new mothers to remain present despite the discomfort.

I have experienced it. Twice. The first time was very difficult, the second time was more manageable,” she said.

“I would tell those women not to think too much and to live to the fullest all the emotions of that moment. Stay within that moment, even if it’s painful. I know, in those moments you think that it will never happen, that your body will never be the same as before, that you will never be the same.

‘That’s not true: the hormones, the emotions at that stage are much, much more powerful and bigger than you. My advice is to live that transition, without fear of the consequences. The risk is also missing out on the most beautiful things about motherhood.’

Kylie also reflected on the joys of motherhood, describing bringing her children home for the first time as “perhaps the most beautiful moment.”

“Finding myself alone in the hospital with a new and unknown child in my arms,” she said when asked about the exciting moments of parenthood.

“It’s such a unique and special situation and it’s about building with these little beings that you’re learning about.

However, there is another magical moment: when you bring your children home. It is perhaps the most beautiful moment.

On Wednesday, he gave fans a glimpse of the newest addition to his family: son Aire.

Kylie added that she cried so much that even resting was painful: “To the point where I was lying in bed and my head hurt so bad.”

In a confessional, he explained: “I’m not a doctor, but I read on Google, they call it ‘baby blues’ when it doesn’t last more than six weeks.” After about six weeks I started to feel better. But I definitely had the case of the blues.

She also offered words of encouragement to other mothers when she opened up about her postpartum struggles last year.

‘I just want to say to my postpartum moms that postpartum hasn’t been easy. It hasn’t been easy, it’s very difficult,’ she said on her Instagram Stories. ‘This experience for me personally has been a little tougher than it was with my daughter.’

She added: ‘It’s not easy mentally, physically, spiritually… it’s crazy. I didn’t want to just come back to life without saying that because I think we can search the internet and for other moms going through the same thing right now, we can go on the internet and it might seem a lot easier to other people and, like, the pressure about us, but it hasn’t been easy for me.

It’s been hard. And I just wanted to say that. I didn’t even think I’d make it to this job today, but I’m here and I feel better, so you have this.

“And it’s okay not to be okay,” he said. “Once I realized that, I was putting pressure on myself, and I keep reminding myself that I made a complete human being.”

“A beautiful, healthy child, and we have to stop pushing ourselves to come back, not even physically, just mentally after birth. So yeah, just sending a little love. I love you guys.’
