One dead and five in critical condition among 11 people shot at a Memphis bar early Sunday morning

Eleven people were shot and one was killed after two shootings in the Whitehaven neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee, in the early hours of Sunday morning.

At around 1 a.m. quarter, officers were called to a shooting at Live Lounge, outside Memphis, where two victims of the shooting were immediately transported to the local Regional One Hospital in critical condition.

Five additional victims of the shooting left the scene and arrived in a private vehicle at the hospital in non-life-threatening conditions.

While on scene, officers received information that a second shooting had occurred and that the victims were at Shelby Drive and Boeingshire Drive, about a mile down the road from the nightclub.

A male victim in the second scene was pronounced dead and three other victims were transported in critical condition to the hospital.

There are believed to be 11 victims in total between the two scenes, which police say are connected.

Police say that, at this time, it is not clear what occurred before the shooting and there is no solid description of the suspect.

In addition, it is not clear if the victims know the suspects.
