Alison Hammond dazzled as she walked the red carpet in the USA BAFTA Nominees party in London on Saturday.

The 48-year-old presenter, who is currently preparing to host this year’s 76th annual film awards ceremony later this week, appeared to be in high spirits.

She looked as glamorous as ever in the strapless black dress adorned with dazzling gold stars.

Alison broke into a big smile when she arrived at the party held at the National Gallery, which was supported by BULGARI.

Her outfit was completed with a matching chiffon shawl draped loosely over her shoulders.

Alison styled her hair in soft waves and opted for striking eye makeup with a shimmery nude lip.

She was announced as the host of this year’s 76th annual film awards ceremony at the Southbank Center’s Royal Festival Hall alongside actor Richard E Grant last month.

The television personality, who presents ITV’s This Morning with Dermot O’Leary and has competed on Strictly Come Dancing, said: “I’m very excited to be hosting this year’s EE Bafta Film Awards with THE Richard E Grant.” .

She added: “We’re going to have a lot of fun bringing the glitz and glamor of backstage to all the home watching around the world.”

“From hanging out with the stars to celebrating the biggest night in movies to joining in discussions with movie fans, be prepared for only good vibes.”

The evening kicked off a spectacular weekend of celebrations that brought together the EE BAFTA Film Award nominees ahead of Sunday’s ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall.

Guests enjoyed the music of Becky Tong, who was playing at the historic venue, and were surrounded by some of the world’s most iconic paintings.

Drinks on offer included a signature Bulgari ‘Serpenti’ cocktail along with Taittinger champagne, Villa Maria wines, Woodford Reserve peach iced tea and a San Pellegrino Limonata and Magnolia spritz.

Meanwhile, Colin Farrell, Austin Butler, Brendan Fraser, Bill Nighy, Daryl McCormack and Paul Mescal will battle it out for Best Actor.
