EMILY PRESCOTT: Extreme train sighting for Ewan McGregor as he is pictured lying on the train tracks in a promotional shot for his upcoming film, also starring his daughter Clara
Star Wars actor Ewan McGregor has admitted that his split from his first wife, Eve, over his affair with actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead, was something of a train wreck.
The breakup with Eve and her daughters, including Clara, now an actress, was so explosive that you might get the wrong idea about Clara’s photo of her dad about to get the cut.
But I’m happy to say that the couple have reconciled and the image is actually a behind-the-scenes shot from their film You Sing Loud, I Sing Louder, in which Ewan, 51, and Clara, 27, play a separated father and daughter.

Eco-designers Vin + Omi have more reason than most to be excited about King Charles’ ascension to the throne.
The duo already make clothes from plants on their Highgrove estate and will soon have plenty of additional raw material to work with as Charles is also set to open Sandringham and Windsor Gardens to them. Vin + Omi hope this can convince other large property owners to do the same.
Vin + Omi featured this biodegradable dress, left, made from tree bark and Highgrove nettles, when they kicked off London Fashion Week with a show at the One Hundred Shoreditch Hotel.
Says Omi, “Your ego falls when you start talking to King Charles about the environment because this guy knows so much.”
Unfortunately, the public can’t buy the actual clothes – they’re one-of-a-kind pieces on display at the V&A.

Nearly 200 years since her ancestor Arthur Wellesley, the 1st Duke of Wellington, wore his favorite boots so much that they became known as wellies, socialite Eleanor Wellesley followed in his footsteps and launched her own line of footwear: high-heeled wedges.
Despite looking dangerously giddy, the shoes, modeled by a friend, on the right, have been cleverly designed, Eleanor assures me, with a platform to elongate the leg without causing the discomfort of traditional stilettos.
The 27-year-old tells me, “I’ve had a good test drive on these for the last two years to make sure they’re super comfortable and easy to wear.”
It clearly runs in the genes…or in this case, in the shoes.
