Floyd Mayweather is set to make his UK debut when he takes on Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers in an exhibition boxing showdown next weekend.
Mayweather, who had a 50-0 professional record, was supposed to fight British kickboxing star Liam Harrison for the event, but the 37-year-old was forced to pull out due to injury.
Since retiring from professional boxing in 2017, Mayweather has been involved in several exhibition bouts.
‘Money’ last fought in November when he defeated Deji Olatunji, brother of YouTube star KSI, by sixth-round TKO.
But while his opponent is known to be a Geordie Shore star, he’s not new to the fighting game. Chalmers has seven professional MMA fights to his credit, with his last fight coming in 2020.
