Students and parents at the school reportedly received the images in a massive airdrop.

The school did not notify parents of the incident until Saturday.

A violent video showing two students fighting (above) at an Adelaide secondary school was airdropped to students and parents, despite a state ban on phones in schools.

It is understood that one of the students did not want to participate in the organized fight.

“They have a list of who fights every day, but I don’t know if it’s on paper, and they just start fighting each other,” said an anonymous student. nine news.

“The older kids were calling him names, so he felt like he had to fight.”

One parent said they were “disgusted” by the video.

Up to 18 students have been suspended from school while police investigate the violent incident. The officers were seen visiting the school on Saturday.

Education Minister Blair Boyer said the students who filmed the fight were able to sneak their phones into the school by handing in fake phones at the door.

“They are using the phones to orchestrate or organize the fight and the timing to record it and then distribute the footage on social media,” he said.

“I hope the schools crack down like they’ve done here, come down on them like a ton of bricks, which they’ve done here, and also suspend those with the phones.”
