Coronation Street fans were left baffled after Carla Barlow’s Underworld colleagues failed to notice her change in behavior when serial killer Stephen Reid poured a drink on her that led her to throw Paul Foreman off his motorcycle during Friday’s episode. .

The businesswoman (Alison King) was seen getting behind the wheel of a van after picking it up from the workshop near her underwear factory after villain Stephen (Todd Boyce) spiked her tea with an unknown substance.

Paul was seen falling to the ground before being knocked unconscious and taken to hospital.
