The daughter and widower of Olivia Newton-John spoke for the first time in an emotional interview, in which the late Grease actress’ daughter Chloe Lattanzi revealed the moving last words her mother said to her before her death.

The legendary actress, who rose to fame for her role as Sandy in 1978’s Grease, died last August at age 73 after a long battle with breast cancer.

Now, his bereaved family members have spoken about how they are coping with their loss, while sharing information about their last moments before they died.

“And just before he lost the ability to speak, he was making jokes.”

John, who married Olivia in 2008, said he felt his late wife’s presence more “late at night, early in the morning.”

“I’ll be walking around the house, or throwing the ball to the dogs and talking to him out loud,” said the 70-year-old, who was visibly emotional at times.

“A guy I was flying with said, ‘You know, John, when you’re lucky enough to have found your true soul mate and you share a heart, when one passes, the other has an obligation to live life for both of you.'” And that was very empowering and very powerful for me and, you know, and it opened up a path for me to follow.’

Olivia died in August of last year after a courageous and extraordinarily public decades-long battle with cancer.

The Australian actress died peacefully at her home in Southern California, surrounded by family and friends, and John announced her death on his Facebook page.

“Olivia has been a symbol of triumph and hope for more than 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer,” John said at the time.

Olivia became a household name after starring opposite John Travolta as Danny in Grease.

Olivia beat breast cancer twice, but was diagnosed again in 2017.

She spent the last few years at home, campaigning for animal rights and raising money online for her charity.

Days after her death, Olivia’s husband wrote an emotional tribute to the actress on his Instagram page.

‘Our love for each other transcends our understanding. Every day we express our gratitude for this love that could have been so deep, so real, so natural,’ he wrote.

‘We never had to ‘work’ on it. We were amazed by this great mystery and we accepted the experience of our love as past, present and forever.

‘In Olivia’s deepest essence, she was a healer using her means of singing, of words, of touch. She was the bravest woman I have ever known.

They were introduced to the couple by a friend in the 1990s, but they didn’t fall in love until 15 years later. according to people.
