The Lord of the Rings fan, the Prince of Wales, has taken a tour of the studios of the spin-off TV show along with the Princess of Wales.
Prince William and Princess Kate have been treated to an exclusive evening tour of The Rings of Power studios at Buttersteep Rise at Ascot.
The royal couple also brought their children Prince George, 9, and Princess Charlotte, 7, to meet the cast of the show.
They reportedly arrived at the studios along with security and stayed in nearby Windsor.
Actor Martin Freeman, who played Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit movies, previously revealed that Prince William was a big fan of the fantasy series and JRR Tolkien.

The Lord of the Rings spin-off is the most expensive show in history, costing more than £1 billion.
Freeman said, “He knew all the facts about Middle-earth.”
A source told The Sun: “William is a big fan of movies so he jumped at the chance.” [to visit the studios].
“The main cast members were introduced and shown around the set.”
“It was all very exciting for George and Charlotte, who loved looking at the props and how everything was set up.
‘Louis stayed home because it was a little late for him. They were escorted by security and it was very discreet. It was also a great honor for the cast.”
The royals visited the studios while the cast and crew were filming the second season of The Rings of Power.
The show’s first season is the most expensive TV show ever, costing Amazon more than £1 billion to produce.
Production on the long-awaited second series of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Might has begun in Berkshire, where a luxurious castle has been built.
