Manchester United transfer target Anthony did not train alongside his Ajax teammates on Friday, despite the Dutch club rejecting United’s £68million offer.
Despite being rebuffed in his interest in the winger, United boss Erik ten Hag is said to still be interested in bringing Antony to Old Trafford before the end of the transfer window.
Ten Hag has long been an admirer of Antony, having signed him during his time in charge of the Eredivisie champions back in 2020.

Antony is said to be interested in linking up with his former manager, and according to a report from Dutch publication De Telegraaf the 22-year-old did not train alongside his teammates on Friday following the rejected bid.
While Alfred Schreuder’s squad trained together for Ajax’s game against Sparta Rotterdam on Sunday, Antony instead worked in the gym without his teammates.
The Brazil international has started both of de Godenzonen’s opening games of the Eredivise campaign this season, and scored in the club’s 6-1 win over Groningen on Sunday.
