On Monday, classmates and school friends gathered at Culcheth Linear Park in Culcheth, where she was found, to pay tribute and lay flowers in her memory.

Damian Harry, whose 15-year-old daughter was in Brianna’s class and a friend of hers, told MailOnline that the tragic teen had been bullied in the past.

She said she was devastated by the constant abuse and even talked about ending it all, the father of two said.

‘It was because she was trans. It’s disgusting what happened.

Apparently, his father said that he raised the protection in school a thousand times. But little was done. The abuse was constant all because she was different.

“Let’s be honest, she was harassed for her sexuality. Of course this is a hate crime.

The 50-year-old added that while there are “some transgender students at the school,” the teen was still a target.

“There are some transgender students in the school, maybe a handful,” he said.

‘Brianna was bullied because she was trans. She did all kinds of things to him.

‘My daughter is distraught over Brianna’s death. She is very upset and has been vomiting from the trauma.

In a video on her now-deleted TikTok account, Brianna, wearing her school uniform, announced her exclusion. The video, reviewed by The Sun, was published five days before her murder.

Emma Mills, the school’s principal, told the newspaper that the Birchwood community is “shocked and truly devastated” by Brianna’s death.

“It is understandable that this is a very difficult and distressing time for many and we will do everything we can to support our students and the school community at large,” said Ms. Mills.

Since then, two teenagers, a 15-year-old boy and a girl, both from the area, have been arrested on suspicion of murder. They are currently in custody assisting police with their investigation.

Officers have alleged that there is no evidence that Brianna was the victim of a hate crime.

However, the teen’s friends took to social media alleging that she had been “harassed and beaten up by gangs” at school for several years for the “simple reason of being trans.”

“She had been bullied at school for years,” an alleged friend of Brianna’s claimed.

More than £52,000 has been donated to a fundraising page set up in memory of Brianna, who is described as someone who ‘gave a lot of laughs’ and hoped to progress at school.

The funds will be used to cover funeral expenses and support her family, who say the death of the ‘strong, fearless and kind’ Brianna has ‘left a huge hole’ in their hearts.
