World War III is the only way to stop Putin, as NATO countries have to “really fight,” warns Russia’s former richest man, now in exile in Britain.

  • Democracy advocate ‘Open Russia’ was jailed in 2003 and pardoned in 2013

A major Putin foe has warned the West that NATO will inevitably be drawn into war with Russia.

As the West contemplates supplying Volodymyr Zelensky with fighter jets, exiled opposition figure Mikhail Khodorkovsky issued a stern analysis that there will be no way other than World War III to stop the dictator.

“NATO countries and Western Europe will have to fight for real,” Russia’s former richest man said.

‘Sooner or later, they will have to… fight. The sooner they realize it, the better because Putin can’t stop.

Stopping for him is death.

Putin “could take a break to digest the territories he conquers” but then he will continue, mobilizing men from the places he conquers.

Khodorkovsky was jailed for a decade under Putin after falling out of favor with the Russian president.

He was eventually released from jail with a pardon in 2013 and went into exile.

He is now based in Great Britain.

The interview on the Khodorkovsky Live channel suggested that “the first year of the war was just a test” and that “everything is starting now.”

Putin’s regime was only able to maintain stability ‘under the conditions of the continuation of the war’.

Mikhail Borisovich Khodorkovsky, known as MBK, was the richest man in Russia in 2003, with an estimated fortune of $15 billion.

After the collapse of the USSR, he acquired several oil fields and quickly built his wealth as a privatized oligarch.

MBK defied the Russian government in 2001, founding Open Russia, an organization that advocates for democracy and human rights.

The businessman was arrested in 2003 on charges of fraud and tax evasion.

The US State Department made select comments at the time about the “arbitrary use” of Russia’s justice system.

Khodorkovsky was pardoned after a decade.
