Samantha Armytage leaves fans confused and gets a one-star review as she quits her popular podcast
Samantha Armytage has left fans confused as to why she isn’t continuing her popular podcast, Something to Talk About.
The star, 46, was left with a one-star review on Jan. 28, with one fan wondering where the host had gone.
Sam announced that he was ending the podcast last month and would return with other “side jobs” for fans.

What happened to Samantha? the review is read with despair. “She was the only reason I listened to this podcast.”
Usually, Sam is inundated with fans saying how wonderful and enjoyable it is to hear her on the podcast, particularly late last year.
“Excellent podcast,” wrote a fan on October 23. “A very interesting episode with Mark Bouris, he knows exactly what’s going on and is very knowledgeable.”

Another wrote on October 8: ‘Just started listening to Samantha and am totally hooked. I love her interview style. Let the guest tell the story of her…’
Sam announced last month that he was leaving the podcast he hosted for Stellar Magazine.
“A little ‘news’ from me for 2023: I’ve made the decision to say goodbye to the ‘Something to Talk About’ podcast this year,” she wrote on Instagram.
“I’ve chatted and interviewed for the past 2 years…and loved every minute of it.”

She continued: ‘THANK YOU to all the lovely people who tuned in weekly and all the fabulous interviewees! I’m still writing my monthly column for @stellarmag, which I LOVE.
“Now is the time for other challenges and side hustles – watch this space.”
Stellar Editor-in-Chief Sarrah Le Marquand will replace Samantha as the new host of the weekly podcast.
It comes almost two years after Samantha left Sunrise in March 2021.

After saying goodbye, she was replaced by Natalie Barr and has enjoyed a quieter life in the country.
However, Samantha is still under contract with Channel Seven until March 2024.
