Backstage fight! Quavo and Offset fight backstage at Grammys ahead of tribute to slain rapper Takeoff

There was backstage drama at the Grammy Awards when rappers Quavo and Offset got into a physical fight and had to be separated.
The Migos rappers still have significant bad blood between them following the shooting death of Takeoff on November 1, 2022.
Quavo was ready to take the stage to perform his song Without You as a tribute to Takeoff during the In Memoriam segment of the show when the fight broke out.
The dispute reportedly occurred because Offset, who has been married to Cardi B since 2017, was asked by the Grammys to be a part of the Takeoff tribute, but moments before going onstage, Quavo blocked him.
TMZ reported that it was Quavo who started the fight, though Offset took to Twitter on Monday to deny there ever was a fight.

Quavo wrote Without You about Takeoff. The trio formed the rap group Migos together.
All three rappers were related. Quavo was Takeoff’s uncle and Offset was Takeoff’s cousin.
They all grew up together outside of Atlanta.
Before Takeoff’s death at age 28, Offset and Quavo were good friends and dated regularly.
