Rosie Jacobs can’t keep her hands off her new boyfriend at Bondi Beach

Rosie Jacobs, the ex-wife of former Today show meteorologist Steve Jacobs, debuted her new boyfriend after a run-in with the law and several years of dating disasters.

The newly sober 43-year-old mother of two filled out the PDA with the mystery man during a sunrise swim on Sydney’s Bondi Beach on Tuesday.

Rosie, who last month avoided jail for a series of traffic violations, looked like she didn’t give a care in the world as she hugged and kissed her tattooed boyfriend.

She showed off her slender figure in a green one-piece swimsuit and showed off some tattoos of her own on her leg and arms.

The couple were later seen walking and jogging across the sand, before leaving the beach with their dogs.

The sighting comes after Rosie avoided a jail sentence for what she described as a “stupid decision” to drive with a suspended license.

The travel journalist pleaded guilty to driving her Audi Q3 three times over the course of just four months last year while her license was suspended for previous offences.

Appearing in court on January 27, she received $1,650 in fines, 75 hours of community service and was banned from driving for three months.

‘If you don’t do what community corrections orders [states] You can be jailed for this offence,’ Magistrate Megan Greenwood said.

In a lengthy social media post in early January, the former TV personality addressed the charges, explaining that he had been going through a “traumatic” time.

She told her followers that she had experienced “tough times” with high anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder following her divorce from ex-husband Steve.

It has been a surprise! she vented. ‘To top it off, I made some stupid decisions to drive my car to the hospital after surgery while on a suspended license.

I regret that decision.

The self-described ‘sober cheeky mom’ explained she was ‘in a lot of pain’ at the time of the offense and made the unfortunate decision to drive.

‘I wish I could undo those moments. But I can’t,’ said Rosie, who has hosted a variety of shows on Nine, Ten, Foxtel and The Weather Channel.

Despite the charges, she said she was optimistic about her future and determined to make the most of her life, having recently achieved a year of sobriety following a long battle with alcohol.

“I choose to start each day filled with gratitude for the world I live in…and for the proactive work I choose to do with my own mental health and happiness,” she wrote.

Rosie began her career as a television producer before getting in front of the camera.

She married Steve Jacobs in 2010, three years after they met on the set of the Today show, where he was a star weather presenter and she worked behind the scenes.

The Jacobses, who share daughters Isabella and Francesca, separated in late 2017, months after moving to Vanuatu in what friends described as a “last ditch attempt” to save their marriage. Their divorce was finalized in 2019.

After her split from Steve, Rosie moved on with a Canadian commando, Dylan Nash, who was part of the expat community in Vanuatu, but they broke up after just two months of dating.

She dated former AFL player Matt Shir from 2018 to 2019.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia in November last year, Rosie revealed that she was happily single after quietly splitting with her newest love Alex Daly.

“It’s been quite a while since Alex and I broke up, and in that time I really enjoyed, for the first time in my adult life, being independent and solo,” she said.

And I actually have enough on my plate right now to keep me very busy. Being a single mom with two girls and running my own business as a travel journalist. I have never felt so fulfilled and content.’
