Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr wears opaque boots against Valencia as the dispute over his £7m a year deal with Nike rages on… with the winger wanting to break his 10-year contract over the lack of recognition from their ability.

Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior protested against sponsors Nike by wearing an all-black pair of boots against Valencia.
The Brazilian striker is fighting to finish his 10-year contract with the American company, although there is no release clause included in the contract.
Vinicius Jr, however, took matters into his own hands at the Bernabeu on Thursday night by wearing plain black boots in the first half.
However, the 22-year-old changed his footwear for the second half, donning a pair of yellow Nike boots before scoring at 2-0.
Vinicius Jr’s deal with the sportswear manufacturer runs until 2028 and he was first sponsored in 2013, when he was just 13 years old.

He wore an old version of the Nike Mercurial boot during Real Madrid’s run to the Champions League title last season and the speedy attacker thinks Nike should give him more recognition as one of their biggest stars.
His performances for Real Madrid last season and this season have been outstanding and have taken him to another level.
If Vinicius Jr really manages to cut ties with Nike, there will undoubtedly be a fight for his signature from competitors like Adidas, Puma and Reebok.
The former Flamengo player also has agreements with EA Sports, Vivo, Casas Bahía, BetNacional, OneFootball, JetEngage, Golden Concept and Royalty and Pepsi.
He will next play for Real Madrid when they visit Mallorca in LaLiga on Sunday afternoon.
The 22-year-old did change his footwear for the second half by wearing yellow Nike boots
