Love Island’s Ron and Tanyel leave their fellow islanders ‘uncomfortable’ after sharing a steamy kiss
Love Island saw the islanders get hot on Thursday when they got caught up in a kissing challenge.
But some kissing made the singles uncomfortable, as Tanyel Revan got hot and heavy while kissing Ron Hall, with the rest of the village looking on.
The couple are currently close as friends, but the islanders wondered if it was more than that as they seemed so passionate.
Ron’s romantic interest Lana Jenkins admitted, “I actually had to look the other way, it went on for so long,” as her friend Olivia Jenkins confirmed: “It made everyone uncomfortable.”
While viewers also took to social media to insist that there was more than just a friendship between Ron and Tanyel, as one shared: “You don’t kiss your mates like that.”

The challenge saw each male islander lined up with a blindfold that restricted their vision, as each girl had a turn to give them all a kiss.
After one kiss from each girl, the boys had to rate it out of ten, as Tanya came out on top with the highest ratings while Jessie Wynter was at the bottom of the leaderboard.
But it was Tanyel who surprised the islanders, as she seemed to be going full speed when she kissed Ron.
Chatting in the beach hut, the barber explained, “I kissed Ron because he’s my best friend and I felt comfortable enough to do it.”
But after seeing it secondhand, Olivia wasn’t convinced, telling the beach hut, “That kiss between Ron and Tanyel went on too long.”
And the latter then grabbed Lana, who is romantically involved with Ron, for a chat and warned her about the possible connection.
“I’m sorry, I just want to tell you how I felt seeing that because I know you would do the same for me,” Olivia began.
She continued: ‘Watching Tanyel and Ron kiss, I think it made everyone a little bit uncomfortable. I don’t know, I don’t want to put anything in your head, but it’s like the line you cross when you’re best friends with a guy.
But I want you to make your own judgement. I’m just saying because I love you, what I saw.

Just Friends: Holding her own in the beach cabana, Tanyel explained, “I kissed Ron because he’s my best friend and I felt comfortable enough to do that.”
Lana then agreed, responding, ‘No, I appreciate that. Yeah, to be honest, it got so long that I looked away.’
The kiss didn’t go unnoticed among fans either, with many taking to Twitter to share their thoughts that there was more to Tanyel and Ron than friendship.
‘Defo more than friendship with Tanyel n Ron,’ wrote one fan.
As another tweeted: ‘Wait, didn’t Tanyel say that she mostly hangs out with men who are her friends before? And didn’t she just say that she feels comfortable kissing Ron because she’s her best friend in her village? Hmm’.

While one user added: “Tanyel definitely has feelings for Ron but is afraid to go after him.”
Chemistry? The kiss didn’t go unnoticed among fans either, with many taking to Twitter to share their thoughts that there was more than just a friendship between Tanyel and Ron.
Many fans even compared the situation to that of the dating show’s second season, in which Olivia Buckland and Rykard Jenkins had a late-night fight under the covers, despite only claiming to be close friends and pursuing other romantic interests.
“Tanyel and Ron remember what Olivia and Rykard were like in season 2 tbh,” wrote one viewer.
As another agreed: “Maybe Tanyel and Ron will be another Rykard and Olivia sitch from season 2.”
