Baby joy: The Love Island stars, both 23, announced the arrival of their daughter Bambi this week
Jake let slip the news that Tommy had welcomed his daughter a week before Molly-Mae’s announcement in a post announcing their upcoming fight.
He said there were ‘no excuses’ for delaying the match now that ‘the baby has been born’.
Tommy, 23, spoke with Piers Morgan, 57, about Jake’s comments ahead of his official announcement.
Tommy said: ‘At the end of the day, all Jake Paul can do from anywhere in this world is speculate, and that’s it.
‘Speculation, nothing is true unless you hear it from me and Molly. It is an integral part, it is what we have to do.
He added: “He’s coming up with the entertainment business, that’s what we’re at, and Jake Paul and I are great dance partners, and I’ve enjoyed the build-up so far, it’s going to get a lot more heated, and I can’t wait.
“Social media can’t save Jake Paul, his mouth can’t save him, it all comes down to fighting.”
The bitter rivals have seen scheduled bouts fail twice, but now they are finally ready to go head-to-head after the two camps signed a grudge match in Riyadh on February 26.
‘His mouth can’t save him’: Tommy Fury has shared his reaction when hater Jake Paul ripped up his baby announcement with Molly-Mae Hague
Jake Paul has used the birth of long-time rival Tommy Fury’s baby to taunt his upcoming opponent ahead of their highly anticipated clash next month.
Paul and Fury already had to part ways during their matchup to promote their upcoming fight, but the YouTuber has now taken things a step further.
The former Love Island stars announced the news in an Instagram post on Monday, while sharing a sweet black-and-white photo with their newborn.
The news didn’t surprise most because Jake had already taken it upon himself to leak the news early last week, but he also added fuel to the fire by leaving a comment on his latest post.
Jake wrote: “After multiple failed attempts to get Tommy Fury in the ring, the moment of truth has finally arrived.
Timing: Tommy’s boxing rival, Jake Paul, had let the news slip a week earlier in a post announcing his upcoming fight, where he said there were “no excuses” for delaying the bout now that “the baby is out.”
Talking: Now Tommy, 23, has spoken to Talk TV host Piers Morgan, 57, about Jake’s comments ahead of his official announcement.
‘Fumbles has no excuses anymore. The baby is born. The money is huge. Immigration is not a problem. Sunday February 26.’
He then responded to the ad post: “Just in time to see your dad get knocked out.”
The pair’s rivalry began after Paul’s first win over Tyron Woodley in August 2021 when he faced the Brit, who was on the undercard that night.
Two previously planned fights between the pair were cancelled, with Fury pulling out due to a broken rib the first time around and difficulty entering the US last summer.
The initial date of February 25 was reportedly moved to February 26 to avoid a matchup with Floyd Mayweather’s exhibition fight against Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers.
Congratulations! Former Love Island stars Tommy and Molly-Mae announced the new in an Instagram post.
Paul will be looking to maintain his unbeaten record against a professional boxer for the first time, having previously faced former UFC fighters, a former NBA player and one of his fellow YouTubers.
His most recent win came against Anderson Silva in October of last year, when he ousted the MMA legend via unanimous decision.
Meanwhile, Fury outpointed Daniel Bocianski when he last laced up his gloves in April of last year.
