Manchester United will have to stump up £67.5million to secure the services of Ajax forward Antony this summer.
The Brazilian has been continually linked with a move to Old Trafford as United boss Erik ten Hag is a fan of the player following their time together in Holland.
However, United will have to fork out a large sum of money for the forward – who more than happy to stay put and continue thriving with the Eredivisie giants.
Speaking to Dutch outlet NOS earlier this month, the Brazilian international admitted that he was ‘fully focused’ on Ajax
‘Will Ten Hag call me? No idea,’ Antony said. ‘He has to discuss this with my agents, I’m focused on here. What will come will come, we’ll see.’
He added: ‘I feel good at Ajax. I give everything for this club, every minute. So I am loving this city and this club.’
However, United could secure the services of PSV forward Cody Gakpo after their Champions League tie with Rangers.
As it stands, Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side are still in with a chance of qualifying for this season’s Champions League group stages.
They drew 2-2 with Rangers on August 16 in their first play off first leg and are set to face the Scottish side once again on August 24.
Therefore, PSV will refrain from making any deals with Gakpo’s suitors until they secure their place in the Champions League.
Ten Hag is eager to get a deal across the line as Gakpo is a prolific goalscorer. He netted twice in seven international matches and scored 21 goals in 47 games last season.
Meanwhile, Pulisic loan deal hangs in the balance.
