Telltale sign that newlyweds Jesse and Claire from Married At First Sight are NOT together anymore

Married At First Sight fans are speculating if newlyweds Claire Nomarhas and Jesse Burford have split after the brunette bride appeared alone on Today Extra.

Usually the couples appear together on the chat show, but on Wednesday Claire spoke to hosts Sylvia Jeffreys and David Campbell without her new husband by her side.

Viewers of the reality show met Claire, a 31-year-old kindergarten teacher, and Jesse, a 30-year-old wedding celebrant, in episode one of the final season.

Before the couple trotted down the aisle, Jesse told viewers about his long list of ‘gross’, including that he doesn’t like women who are passionate about astrology, which later became a problem at their wedding when Claire asked her birthday to find out her zodiac sign.

This was the beginning of the newlyweds’ downfall, as while waiting to board a flight for their honeymoon in the Whitsundays, Jesse brought Claire to tears by telling her to shut up.

Speaking to Today Extra about the ordeal, Claire said: “We were at the airport getting ready for our honeymoon and I think I was talking loud, and I myself, we were having fun, and they told me to wear my insides.” voice, to shut up, to keep it down, and that hurt my feelings.

‘I’ve never been told to put on a lid, to stop talking, so it made me feel unappreciated…I was excited, I had just gotten married and was embarking on this journey and I had so much to say and talk about.’

Claire added that she got really upset at the time and started to “guess” everything he was saying and how he said it.

In the episode, Jesse complained to the producers that Claire seemed to “not realize how loud she was talking” and that she needed some “quiet”.

Viewers who tuned in at home were less than impressed, with several sharing their thoughts on Twitter.
