CBS gets Super Bowl LVII date WRONG as the TV network shows Arizona’s game to be on February 29 (which doesn’t even EXIST!) – during their live broadcast of the Chiefs-Bengals game

CBS producers have landed in trouble after sensationally getting the date of this year’s Super Bowl wrong during live coverage of the Kansas City Chiefs-Cincinnati Bengals game on Sunday night.

Video from the broadcast showed a group of teams playing in the AFC and NFC championship games over the weekend with the Philadelphia Eagles already mentioned as one of two teams in Super Bowl LVII after the team’s victory. by 31-7 over the San Francisco 49ers.

CBS got that update right, though the network’s chart showed the wrong date for America’s most-watched sporting event, showing February 29 instead of February 12.

Super Bowl games are also traditionally held on Sundays and if February 29 were a date on this year’s schedule, that would mean the Chiefs and Eagles would meet on Thursday night.

However, some traditions change over time, while others don’t, and Super Bowl LVII will be played on the second Sunday in February in Glendale, Arizona. Fox will have the rights to broadcast the game instead of CBS.
