Patsy Palmer Trips During Her Wicked-Themed Ice Dance Routine

Patsy Palmer tripped over her back during Sunday night’s episode of Dancing On Ice while heading out for a Wicked-inspired routine.

The soap opera star was in the middle of her routine with her partner Matt Evers when she misstepped and ended up hitting the ice, before the pro picked her up again.

And in the audience to support her during the routine was Sid Owen, who played her on-screen husband, Ricky Butcher, in EastEnders.

Patsy took on the role of the character Elphaba from the West End show Wicked, even painting herself green as she took to the ice in the role.

But despite a good start for actress and couple Matt, who danced to the song from the Defying Gravity production, things took a turn halfway.

Patsy skated alongside her pro partner as he followed close behind with his arms around her.

The star seemed to lose her balance as she fell backwards onto the ice, narrowly missing a hit from Matt’s skate as she slid past, before coming to an abrupt stop to rescue her.
