The 35-year-old actress, whose show How I Met Your Father is about to premiere its second season, wore a voluminous black coat over a white T-shirt. She added pale blue jeans to the ensemble.

The Lizzie Maguire star carried her daughter Mae’s backpack that had her name etched on the front in bright yellow letters.

She walked around in faded black and white sneakers, and her dyed blonde locks were parted in the middle and touched her upper back.

Duff was seen with her two daughters early in the morning: four-year-old Banks and one-year-old Mae.

Banks wore an all-pink ensemble while Mae staggered next to her mother as they sped across the street.

Hilary also has a son, Luca, 10, who was not seen with his mother on Saturday.
