Western Sydney Wanderers fans have been criticized for “charging families” by angry supporters during the team’s game against the Central Coast Mariners in Gosford on Saturday night.
More than 8,000 spectators gathered at the Industree Group Stadium for the clash between third-placed Wanderers and second-placed Mariners, who achieved a captivating 2-2 draw.

More than 8,000 fans turned out at Industree Group Stadium for the clash between the Wanderers and the Mariners, who recorded a captivating 2-2 draw.
The Round 14 match played out to the wire, with clear winning chances for both sides on offer until the final whistle.
However, a video posted to Twitter on Saturday night shows screaming Wanderers fans appearing to move aggressively towards the Mariners fans in the bay next to them.
The video is captioned: ‘A bunch of baby boys in the bay away charging at families and shit? absolute losers.
The clip has been viewed over 200,000 times and most football fans seem to agree with the fan who uploaded it.

‘So bad, I’m a huge A league fan, I have 3 young children and would love to start bringing the whole family to my passion, if we were in that bay my partner would say that’s it, we’re not going back’ commented another.

The A-League’s spectator numbers have remained low this year and have been unable to capitalize on the Socceroos’ incredible run at the World Cup in Qatar, and match problems are part of the problem.
