Octomom’s 8 children turn 14! Exclusive look at Nadya Suleman’s party
Nadya Suleman’s eight youngest children turn 14 this week: the boys are Nariyah, Isaiah, Maliyah, Jeremiah, Noah, Josiah, Jonah and Makai.
The 47-year-old single mom, better known as Octomom, took her kids for a fun day of go-kart racing at K1 Speed in Orange County, California, followed by a pizza lunch to celebrate.
The children also held gold Mylar balloons that spelled out BIRTHDAY as they posed outdoors for the camera in casual attire.
The tabloid figure has six other children, not pictured, making her the mother of 14.

Suleman beamed with pride as she wore a winter-appropriate outfit consisting of a maroon turtleneck top and black pants with her raven hair tied up in a braided ponytail.
The star, who also goes by Natalie Suleman, held a bouquet of shimmering silver-gray balloons high on her head.
The Fullerton, California native was seen posing with her eight children as they celebrated her 14th birthday before hopping in a go-kart to race her little ones around a track.
The children, all dressed casually for the fun afternoon, clung to small gold Mylar balloons that spelled out BIRTHDAY in all capital letters.

They were seen driving their karts with helmets on to be safe.
The K1 Speed kart facility is located in Orange County, Southern California. K1 Speed is a Californian company that operates go-kart tracks. The company was co-founded in 2003. There are multiple locations in California.
Kart racing is a motor sport featuring four-wheeled, open-wheel vehicles known as go-karts or shift karts.
They are generally raced on small circuits, although some professional kart racing is also held on full-size motorsports circuits.

After they rode in the carts, the mom treated the eight kids to a pizza lunch.
The Los Angeles resident first rose to fame in 2009 when she welcomed octuplets after having six children at home.
In 2001, Suleman gave birth to her first child, a boy. In 2002 she gave birth to her first daughter.
Suleman continued IVF treatments which resulted in three more pregnancies (including a set of twins) for a total of six children (four sons, two daughters).
After that she had her octuplets.

She raises all 14 children in a three-bedroom house in Orange Country, California.
Last year, during his 13th birthday, he had some kind words for the little ones.
“You are all becoming some of the kindest, most humble, grateful and loving human beings I have ever met,” he added.
He then shared: ‘Each of you has[es] rare and unique characteristics, and they are unlike any other child their age, particularly in our society today.’

She added: ‘Words cannot express how grateful I am to be your mother. You all have blessed my life immensely and I thank God every day for trusting me to care for, shape life and influence all of you.’
Having as many as 14 children was not intentional, he has said in the past.
The reality star said she never intended to have this many and that her doctor was “cheating” on her.

The star welcomed octuplets in 2009. She said Dr. Michael Kamrava, who has since lost his medical license and moved outside the United States, is the reason she has so many children, she says.
“I was misled by my doctor,” Suleman said. She thought that she would only have two children.
But Kamrava implanted 12 embryos. “He told me that we lost six embryos, he said that they were expelled and that’s why he wanted to implant another six,” Suleman said.
It was also claimed that she was already high and not fully high when it all went down.
Kamrava’s friend, Rabbi David Shofet, told the Times: “He told me he suggested she not keep everyone, but she said no.”

Suleman began IVF treatments in 1997, when she was 21 years old.
Also in the Times interview, Nadya said she didn’t want to keep any secrets from her 14 children: “We talk about everything,” she said.
And the daughter of the star, Amerah, has only good things to say about her mother: “She has been fighting for our family for 10 years.” No matter what, she will never give up and I know it.
Their son Joshua told The Times that having so many siblings has its advantages. He said that they like having so many siblings. ‘Some of my friends don’t have siblings, so they want to know what it’s like. It’s nice to have someone to play with, but sometimes it can be overwhelming.’
