Paris Hilton sought the advice of Kim Kardashian before welcoming her first child via surrogacy.

On Monday, the 41-year-old heiress revealed that she and her husband Carter Reum had a baby boy after undergoing IVF with him nearly two years ago, as suggested by her friend Kim Kardashian.

while speaking in The trend reporter with Mara podcast in January 2021, the socialite said the 42-year-old reality star, who had three of her four children via IVF, had recommended her own doctor.

‘[Kim was the one] who told me about that,’ said the businessman. He didn’t even know anything about it.

She added: “I’m happy he gave me that advice and introduced me to his doctor.”

The Paris: The Memoir author revealed that she and her then-boyfriend Carter Reum, 41, were considering having twins and had already undergone the egg retrieval procedure.

“We’ve been doing IVF, so I can choose twins if I want to,” she said. I already underwent the egg retrieval procedure. It was hard, but I knew it would be worth it. I did it a couple of times.

She added: “Just doing it together and having a partner who is very supportive and always makes me feel like a princess all the time… which wasn’t too bad.”

The “Stars Are Blind” singer, who was previously engaged three other times, then went on to open up about how the businessman was her “soul mate.”

A month after the interview, the couple got engaged on February 13.

They married in a lavish wedding ceremony held at her grandfather’s Bel-Air estate in November 2021.

During the video interview, she said that she was ready to start her next chapter and become a mother.

“And I don’t have to experience that yet, because I didn’t feel like anyone deserved that love from me, and now I finally found the person who deserves it.”

The Kardashians star offered her close friend some advice after undergoing IVF herself three times during her marriage to ex-husband Kanye West.

Kim conceived and carried her first child, North, nine, naturally and had her second child, Saint, seven, via IVF.

Due to their difficult and high-risk pregnancies, the former couple opted for surrogacy to have five-year-old daughter Chicago and three-year-old son Psalm.
