That’s how it is! I’m Lee Mead from Casualty.

The 41-year-old actor is best known for his role as Ben ‘Lofty’ Chiltern in the medical drama and its spin-off series Holby City.

Since starring in the series, Lee has played Billy Flynn in Chicago, and the show embarked on a UK national tour.

In photos shared to his Instagram, Lee wore a barber’s gown and smiled sheepishly as his long locks were shaved.

It comes after Lee said he hasn’t earned a penny this year after his job opportunities were thwarted by the coronavirus pandemic.

The actor revealed that he had plays and cruises scheduled for this year, however, they were all canceled due to the global crisis that hit in March.

The West End star admitted to the Sun that he regrets leaving Holby three months before covid-19 hit, because it would give him a steady income.
