‘Distraught’ Jade Yarbrough hides out at her sister’s house Jasmine Fracas from Michael Clarke

A mortified Jade Yarbrough takes refuge with her sister Jasmine Stefanovic after her angry argument with her boyfriend Michael Clarke made headlines.

The 30-year-old interior designer is staying at Jasmine’s house where she has spent the last two days on the phone with a ‘desperate’ Clarke, who begs her to take him back after he allegedly cheated on her last month with her ex Pip Edwards. .

Yarbrough has not been seen since footage of the ugly stoush was leaked to the press on Wednesday, but friends say she is “distraught and embarrassed” by the video.

Queensland Police announced overnight that they were investigating the altercation, which took place on January 10 in a public park in Noosa. No charges have been filed.

“Queensland Police are investigating an incident between a 30-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man pictured at Lions Park on Gympie Terrace in Noosaville earlier this month,” a police spokesperson said.

“As this matter of 10 January 2023 is under investigation, the Queensland Police Service is unable to provide further comment.”

Clarke is said to have spent ‘Wednesday and Thursday on the phone with’ Yarbrough begging for forgiveness, reports the daily telegraph.

Extraordinary footage emerged on Wednesday of the couple’s heated exchange while on holiday in Noosa, with Yarbrough accusing Clarke, 41, of sleeping with her Edwards behind her back on December 17.

Clarke and Edwards had dated on and off from June 2020 to December 2021. The former Australian cricket captain began dating Yarbrough last year.

The video, filmed by a bystander and obtained by The Daily Telegraph for $10,000, showed others in the group, including Today presenter Karl Stefanovic, his wife Jasmine, Jade’s older sister, and famed accountant Anthony Bell, trying to calm the altercation.

Yarbrough accuses Clarke of sleeping with Edwards on December 17 and texting him that she is the “love of his life”.

The video opens with Yarbrough yelling at Clarke before she punches him in the face and pushes him after the cricketer insists he didn’t cheat on her.

‘I’m wrong? I’m fucking wrong! You are a fucking liar. Ican see everything. You called her,” she yells, apparently referring to the messages between Clarke and Edwards.

Clarke then tries to reassure Yarbrough that she did not leak with Edwards on December 17, saying that she was with Bell that night.

“Baby, you’re wrong, you’re wrong,” Clarke insists. ‘Baby, baby, Belly was in the house. I swear on my life, I swear on my life… That’s not true, it’s not true.’

He then swore on the life of his daughter Kelsey Lee that he did not cheat on her, but Yarbrough refuses to believe her desperate protests, claiming that she talked to Edwards.

‘You’re lying to me. You are a piece of s**t. I just talked to her. What’s wrong?’ she says.

Clarke again denies sleeping with Edwards, responding, ‘No, I didn’t. you can hit me That’s not true, that’s not true’.

He appeared to have strained his hamstring in the melee after being pushed to the ground by Yarbrough, as he was seen limping through the public park.

Stefanovic’s wife, Jasmine, finally steps in and grabs her distraught sister by the arm and drags her away.

Jasmine can be heard saying, “Go to Karl, go out to Karl.”

As she is led away, Jade can be heard crying as she turns to Clarke and howls, “I hate you.”

Clarke then tries to follow Jade before she unleashes a wave of rage at Stefanovic, apparently because she’s leaving with the two sisters.

‘Karlos, I can tell you now shit, don’t walk away. She can, she can hit me, but you idiot,” says Clarke.

This comment arouses the fury of Jade, who defends her brother-in-law before slapping Clarke repeatedly across the face.

“You piece of s**t, don’t talk to him,” he yells.

Stefanovic and Bell can be heard telling the couple to stop, which falls on deaf ears.

“Go hit me, hit me… do it again, you’re wrong, you’re fucking wrong,” Clarke tells his girlfriend.

Yarbrough yells: ‘Oh, am I wrong? You fucked her on December 17th, you fucked her… you fucking dog… I’m going to show her every fucking message you ever sent me.’

She references a text message she allegedly saw on Clarke’s phone inviting Edwards to go to India with him.

“Oh yes, you’re the love of my life, Pip, come to India,” Yarbrough says, to which Clark replies, “Don’t ever talk to me again.”

The two-minute clip ends with Jasmine and Bell separating the feuding couple.

“Stop, Jade, stop,” Jasmine pleads. Bell adds, “Let it go, Jade.”

The ugly altercation unfolded in front of young children who were nearby, according to stunned witnesses.

A remorseful Clarke has since taken full responsibility for what happened.

I am absolutely heartbroken, I have put people I hold in the highest regard in this position. My actions in the lead up to this altercation were nothing short of shameful and regrettable,” he told The Daily Telegraph on Wednesday.

“I am devastated that by my actions I have brought women of class and integrity, and my peers, into this situation.”

Meanwhile, Edwards had none of the drama when he returned home to the eastern suburbs on Wednesday night after attending Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road concert at Allianz Stadium in Moore Park.

‘This is not my circus. Once again, Michael in his true nature has not taken responsibility for his actions and I was blatantly lied to,” he said in a statement to Daily Mail Australia.

It has since been revealed that Clarke hopes to win Yarbrough back.

A friend of the retired cricketer said a “broken” Clarke is already talking about reconciling with his partner, despite admitting he cheated on her.

It is said that he is planning a “grand gesture” to show how much he loves her.

“He filled up and he knows he filled up and he got arrested, it’s as simple as that,” the source told Daily Mail Australia.

His friend added that Clarke is “in a dark place emotionally” and is in close contact with his “best friend” Anthony Bell, who was also involved in the Noosa riot.
