Susan Sarandon has given her blessing to the stage musical adaptation of Thelma And Louise.

Amanda Seyfried, 37, and Evan Rachel Wood, 35, are currently working on the project in New York.

‘I think that’s fabulous. They’re both great,” said the actress. Variety at the premiere of his latest film, Maybe I Do in New York.

The movie is about two best friends who embark on a fishing trip only to become the target of a manhunt after killing a would-be rapist.

The movie won the Academy Award for Best Screenplay and introduced a little-known actor named Brad Pitt to moviegoing audiences.

Gina did not issue a statement, but appeared to give her approval of the new project by reposting a montage of photos from the film to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday.

Susan co-starred with Amanda in the 2013 romantic comedy The Big Wedding.

Amanda did not accept the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Limited Series for her portrayal of Elizabeth Holmes in Hulu’s The Dropout because she was working.

The busy actress, who was able to accept her Critics Choice award for her performance on Sunday, was enthusiastic as she described the project to ME! News.
