Hollyoaks SPOILER: Child killer Bobby Costello FINALLY learns his fate in court while his mother Mercedes does a disappearing act

Hollyoaks child killer Bobby Costello will finally meet his fate in court next week as his mother Mercedes struggles to come to terms with the possibility that her son is behind bars.

Bobby was arrested last year for starting a fire at Price Slice while DeMarcus Westwood was trapped inside, and the boy was also responsible for the deaths of serial killer Silas Blissett and Mercedes’ ex Sylver.

Now, when Bobby finally finds out if he’s facing a lengthy prison sentence, Mercedes has made a disappearing act out of town, leaving the rest of the McQueen clan to try and track her down.

SPOILER: Hollyoaks child killer Bobby Costello will finally meet his fate in court next week, as his mother Mercedes struggles to come to terms with the possibility that her son is behind bars.

Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) was previously arrested on suspicion of aiding Bobby (Jayden Fox) with his crimes, while desperately trying to prevent the acts of her murderous son from coming to light.

But in scenes to be aired next week, her brother John Paul (James Sutton) learns that she is remanded elsewhere, prompting her boyfriend Felix (Richard Blackwood) to try to investigate.

However, it is soon revealed that Mercedes had been released weeks ago, prompting her family to try to track her down.

Where did she go? Mercedes has done a disappearing act before her son's sentencing, leaving the rest of the McQueen clan to track her down.

As Bobby’s sentencing looms, Felix and John Paul are determined to find Mercedes and even enlist the help of a private detective.

Eventually, Felix finds Mercedes and convinces her to come home, suggesting that she take out her frustrations by boxing and insisting that she must take some responsibility for Bobby’s behavior.

Goldie (Chelsee Healey) decides to go to court for Bobby’s sentencing, although she is far from supporting him.

Here she is! Finally, Mercedes returns to town to support her son during her sentence, and it remains to be seen how long her sentence will last.
