Princess Anne perform Investitures at Palace of Holyroodhouse

>

The Princess Royal has already had a busy week, and it’s only Wednesday.

The 72-year-old was handing out investitures at the Palace of Holyroodhouse today, including honors for the British team curling team, after flying back from Athens, where she attended the funeral of King Constantine of Greece.

Dressed in full military uniform, the royals looked brilliant as they welcomed the latest honorees to the King’s official Edinburgh residence.

Despite the fallout from Prince Harry’s explosive autobiography Spare, published last Tuesday, seemed very normal to the King’s stoic younger brother.

King Constantine died of a stroke on January 10 in the Greek capital at the age of 82, more than 50 years after being exiled in a military coup.

Princess Anne looked stoic as she entered the Athens cathedral with her husband.

The public funeral was followed by a 29-kilometre procession to the Tatoi Palace, where a separate private ceremony was held, before Constantine is buried with other members of the Greek royal family.
