Drake has surpassed The Beatles with the most top five hits in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The 35-year-old Canadian rapper scored his 30th top five hit with the debut of the DJ Khaled song Staying Alive that features him along with Lil Baby.

Staying Alive debuted at number five on the latest chart dated August 20.

Chart watchers also noted that Drake has become the first artist in history to earn 100 top 20 hits on the Hot 100.

The Beatles dropped to second behind Drake with 29 top five hits and were followed by Madonna with 28, Mariah Carey with 27, Janet Jackson with 26, Rihanna with 23 and Elvis Presley with 21.

Drake acknowledged his achievements on social media by sharing a headline about surpassing The Beatles.

‘Ok I broke my records for the month,’ he wrote in the caption for his roughly 119 million followers along with a plug for a Bitcoin exchange.

The emotional rapper released his seventh studio album Nevermind in June and it became his 11th album to reach number one on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Drake is the fifth act with more than 10 albums reaching number one on the Billboard 200 since the chart began regularly publishing weekly in 1956.

The Beatles have a record 19 albums that reached number one on the chart, followed by Jay-Z with 14 and Bruce Springsteen and Barbra Streisand who each have 11.

Drake got the ink after landing seven songs in the top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100, breaking the record of five songs previously held by The Beatles.

He also has beaten The Beatles record for most Hot 100 top 10 songs in a single year that was set in 1964.
