A mother of two who was allegedly murdered in western Sydney has been remembered as “beautiful and warm-hearted”.

Dayna Isaac, 28, was found dead inside a drive-thru on Colless St in Penrith, west of Sydney, at around 4:15pm on Monday by a woman she knew who contacted police.

A 32-year-old man known as Ms Isaac is in police custody and is assisting with investigations.

Ms. Isaac’s best friend said she was the “most beautiful, caring and selfless” person she had ever met.

“She lit up the room and was the life of the party,” the woman, who wished to remain anonymous, told Daily Mail Australia.

“She was an amazing, loving mother to two beautiful little girls who absolutely adored her and I’m so proud to call her not just my friend, but my sister.”

Mrs Isaac’s car was found burned out on a bush 13 km away near Castlereagh.

“An investigation is underway after the body of a woman was found in a house in western Sydney today,” a spokeswoman for the New South Wales Police said.

‘At around 4:15pm, a woman attended Penrith Police Station and notified officers that she had located the body of a woman, known to her, inside a unit on Colless St, Penrith.

‘Officers from the Nepean Police Area Command attended the unit and found the body inside.

“Initial investigations suggest that another person had been in the unit prior to the arrival of the woman who reported the matter.”

Police urge anyone who may have information that could help detectives to come forward and contact Penrith Police Station or Crime Stoppers.
