The San Francisco 49ers defeated the Seattle Sounders 41-23 to book their spot in the NFL divisional playoffs, with surprise star quarterback Brock Purdy back in top form to seal the victory.
Deebo Samuel, Elijah Mitchell, and Christian McCaffrey all scored touchdowns for the winning team at Levi’s Stadium, while Purdy scrambled to score another as San Fran booked their spot against the Vikings or Giants in the next round.
An impressive season ends for Geno Smith and the Seahawks, who were expected to have a tough season after the loss of Russell Wilson, but instead got better and made the postseason.
