Lisa Marie Presley died of a second cardiac arrest suffered while in hospital, it was learned, dying after the family signed a ‘do not resuscitate’ order.
The only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, 54, was rushed to hospital Thursday morning after her housekeeper found her collapsed inside her Calabasas home.
EMTs who arrived at her home managed to revive her and her pulse returned, but by the time she arrived at the hospital she was brain dead. TMZ reported on Friday.
The family rushed to his bedside, where he was in an induced coma and on life support. Upon learning that he was already brain dead, he signed a ‘do not resuscitate’ order.
She suffered a second cardiac arrest and died.
Lisa Marie Presley, 54, appears at the Golden Globes on Monday. She died of cardiac arrest on Thursday.
His 77-year-old mother Priscilla was at his bedside.
Ex-husband Danny Keough, the first of four, with whom she was living, returned to the home shortly after it collapsed and performed CPR until paramedics arrived.
Keough is the father of actress daughter Riley, 33, and son Benjamin, who committed suicide in July 2020 at age 27.
Her fourth husband, Michael Lockwood, is the father of Presley’s 14-year-old twin daughters, Harper Vivienne and Finlay.
