Tennis star Ajla Tomljanović does not regret televising her romance with ex Matteo Berrettini

Ajla Tomljanović and Matteo Berrettini explained it all during the filming of the Netflix series Break Point, which went behind the scenes of professional tennis.

While they mostly appeared as a strong unit throughout the series, their relationship eventually broke down on screen after three years of romance.

Talking with him herald sun On Saturday, Australia’s leading tennis player, 29, said she has no regrets filming her love scenes despite how terrible it ended.

“I don’t regret anything, just because I think that’s my motto in life,” she said when asked about scenes they filmed together in Melbourne during last year’s Australian Open.

‘I think part of that episode [ep. two – Take The Crown]if people can have some takeaway food, [it shows] what it’s like when two athletes are dating and the struggles that come with it.

“But I also don’t think you can really tell much just by looking when it comes to the actual relationship.”

While he has no regrets, Tomljanović went on to say that he will think twice in the future before exposing much of his romantic life for the public to see.

The pair appeared in episode two which was titled Take The Crown in reference to Berrettini’s chance to win the 2022 Australian Open after defending champion Novak Djokovic was deported when he refused to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Cracks appeared in the 26-year-old Tomljanović and Berrettini’s relationship after the former suffered an emotional first-round loss to Paula Badosa.

As the former couple argued over where Tomljanović would host an 8:15am Tennis Channel interview, Berrettini insisted: “I have to sleep.” She goes downstairs and asks for a room.

“I’m going to say on the air that you kicked me out,” Tomljanović joked.

But they will agree with me. I’m still at the Australian Open! Berrettini responded brutally.

While he has no regrets, Tomljanović went on to say that he will think twice in the future before exposing much of his romantic life for the public to see.

Later in the episode, they said an emotional goodbye, but finally broke up for good last February after three years.

Tomljanović dated tennis ‘bad boy’ Nick Kyrgios for two years until 2017.

They reportedly broke up after Kyrgios was seen leaving a London nightclub with two women, after which she deleted him from her Instagram page.
