The Queen of Spain chose a very cozy but elegant look to visit the Isla del Rey in Menorca today.
Queen Letizia joined her husband, King Felipe VI, in the couple’s first outing since the announcement of the death of her uncle, King Constantine of Greece, on January 10, aged 82.
The couple will attend the funeral of the Greek royal on January 16 at the Metropolitan Orthodox Cathedral of Athens.
Letizia looked typically elegant in her oversized white coat from & Other Stories, wrapped at the waist with a chunky belt, as she and Felipe toured a hospital museum and basilica with Spanish officials.

For today’s outing, in which the couple toured a hospital and a basilica, the Queen wore her chestnut locks in a sleek, windproof hairstyle.
She donned glam day makeup with just the right amount of blush to add definition to her cheeks.
For the exit, Letizia opted for an oversized white coat, which she combined with a black and white floral dress with black leather boots.

She opted for an orange eyeshadow that brought out the color of her blue yes, and her regulation eyeliner and mascara.

It is the first time the couple has been seen since the death of King Constantine of Greece, Philip’s uncle and brother of his mother, Queen Sofia.

Constantine, who was also godfather to Prince William and nephew to the Duke of Edinburgh, has died aged 82.
The last king of Greece – who went into exile in 1967 after a military coup – was admitted last week to the private Hygeia hospital in Athens with breathing difficulties.
He died “of a stroke” on Tuesday night, local media reported, after several hospital admissions in recent months.
Staff at the private Hygeia hospital in Athens said Constantine had been treated in an intensive care unit.

When he succeeded to the throne as Constantine II at the age of 23 in 1964, the young monarch, who had already achieved glory as an Olympic gold medalist in sailing, was wildly popular.
By the following year, he had squandered much of that support with his active participation in the machinations that overthrew the popularly elected Center Union government of Prime Minister George Papandreou.
The episode, still widely known in Greece as the “apostasy” or the defection of several politicians from the ruling party, destabilized the constitutional order and led to a military coup in 1967.
The couple received a warm welcome at the hospital museum during their tour, with Letizia shaking hands.

The dictatorship abolished the monarchy in 1973, while a referendum following the restoration of democracy in 1974 dashed any hope Constantine had of reigning again.
Reduced in the following decades to mere fleeting visits to Greece, which each time aroused a political and media storm, he was able in his last years to settle again in his native country, when opposing his presence was no longer valid as a badge of vigilant republicanism.
With minimal nostalgia for the monarchy in Greece, Constantine became a relatively uncontroversial figure of the past.
Constantine was born on June 2, 1940 in Athens, the son of Prince Paul, King George II’s younger brother and heir presumptive to the throne, and Princess Frederica of Hanover.
His older sister, Sofía, is the wife of former King Juan Carlos I of Spain.
