And through it all, the love you have shown me not only gave me the strength I needed to face it all, but it helped me realize that I was not alone. I am very grateful.’

If Kathryn really is gone from the show, it comes a year after more major changes in her life.
In November 2021, she and Chleb Ravenell went their “separate ways” when an eighth season episode of Southern Charm that aired in July showed their romance unraveling.
The two eventually parted ways over Kathryn’s custody battle with her ex Thomas Ravenel, though both had different interpretations of why the relationship didn’t work out.
Following a disagreement introduced in the previous episode, Kathryn tried to cool things down by cooking Chleb a meal and inviting him to dinner.
Strained Time: In November 2021, she and Chleb Ravenell went their separate ways as an episode of the eighth season of Southern Charm aired in July and showed the unraveling of their romance.
“I thought Chleb was going to be my person forever, but now it’s like, I don’t know,” he said in a confessional interview. “I feel like he has one foot in, one foot out.”
However, her boyfriend confessed his love for her and told her that he wanted to get back together with her.
“There’s a lot going on with me and I feel like you lack empathy for what I’m going through,” Kathryn said, referring to her ongoing custody issues with her ex Thomas.
Chleb responded by stating that she did not show as much concern for him as he did for her.
“You don’t care about my feelings,” he said, though he seemed to want to solve his problems. ‘Honestly, I’m trying to make it work.’
Difference of opinion: Both parties seemed to agree that Kathryn’s custody fight with Thomas (pictured) was a catalyst for the split, though they had different interpretations.
Too soon? Kathryn claimed that Chleb was “emotionally unavailable”, but he claimed that she “dumped me straight” after three months.
Kathryn went further, saying she wasn’t sure the relationship could survive their differences.
“Over the past few days, I’ve thought a lot about what I need and haven’t gotten in this relationship,” she said, adding that she thought Chleb was “emotionally unavailable.”
“I’ve been in relationships with emotionally unavailable people and I haven’t seen you taking the steps to fill the role that I would want someone to fill,” he continued.
But Chleb claimed it was his custody battle with Thomas that drove him away from her. Kathryn and Thomas share her eight-year-old daughter Kensington and her six-year-old son St. Julien.
“I didn’t know what I was getting into before I went out with you,” Chleb said. ‘About three months into our relationship, you dumped the kids right on me.’
Kathryn suggested that Chleb couldn’t even be in the mindset of being in a relationship if he couldn’t handle his family, before suggesting that they end things for good.
Sad goodbye: Chleb stormed out of his house and packed his things while Kathryn was left crying
“I can’t keep trying if I don’t feel like you’re trying,” he continued. “I never imagined what the time would be like when we would really like to go our separate ways, but I truly believe that’s what’s best for you and me.”
Kathryn was overcome with tears, and Chleb cursed before packing up some of this stuff and leaving.
In November 2021, a source said us weekly that the former couple had no hard feelings for each other.
‘Her future husband would have to be this amazing stepdad to her children and be someone who would seriously commit to her, and [Chleb] It just wasn’t that,” the source said, echoing their tense discussion about Southern Charm.
They weren’t meant to be and even their friends noticed. She has as much love in her life as she has with her little children,” the source continued.
The couple began dating in July 2020.
