Bella Hadid and her older sister Gigi join forces to sing Happy Birthday to Mom Yolanda

Yolanda Hadid turned 59 on Wednesday with her daughters Bella and Gigi Hadid, as well as boyfriend Joseph Jingoli.

In a video shared on Instagram Stories, the trio was caught singing the happy birthday song to the Dutch beauty as they celebrated in a dimly lit restaurant.

Bella, Gigi and Joseph helped Yolanda carry her delicious cake during the traditional tune.

At the end of the song, Yolanda suggests that they each try to blow out the candles, but both Gigi and Bella disagree.

‘No, just do it,’ her daughters reply.

After closing her eyes to make a quick wish, Yolanda blows out a portion of the candles on the cake before trying again to successfully blow out the rest.

Yolanda She looked stylish for her birthday celebration in a cozy tan outfit consisting of pants and a matching oversized jacket.

Her bright blonde hair was pulled back from her face and tied into a ponytail.

“Grateful,” the mother-of-three captioned, before addressing an “I love you so much” to her family and friends in attendance.

Earlier in the day, in honor of her birthday, the former model shared a heartfelt and bittersweet message to her late mother, Ans van den Herik, including how she missed her ‘barometer’ and ‘dictator of truth’ since her passing in 2019.

‘It has been difficult to continue without your presence in my life. I miss my barometer, my truth teller, my safe place and the anchor of my being…’ she began.

‘You are my heart and soul, my beautiful mom, I know your light is shining down on me from heaven.’

Sense: Earlier in the day, in honor of her birthday, the former model shared a heartfelt and bittersweet message for her late mother, Ans van den Herik.

He ended the post by writing: “I deeply honor you today, the day you brought me into the world, the day that will be ours forever.”

Hours later, Gigi took to her mom’s Instagram Stories to share a loving message: “Happy birthday sweet mom @yolanda.had loved you so much!”

Bella went on to post a collage of images showing Yolanda with her three children over the years: ‘Happy birthday to my sweetest mommy cake. I love you a lot!!!!’

Bella, 26, went on to post a collage of images showing Yolanda with her three children over the years: “Happy birthday to my sweetest mommy.” I love you a lot!!!!’

She was introduced to modeling by being in the right place at the right time. One day, Dutch fashion designer Frans Molenaar found himself in a bind and needed to fill in for one of his models for a show, and asked him to step in.

It was during that replacement showing that Eileen Ford discovered her and later signed a contract with Ford Models.

From there, Yolanda went on to walk the catwalks around the world in cities like Paris, Milan, Sydney, Cape Town, Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles and Hamburg.

She modeled for 15 years before wanting to settle down and start a family. In 1994, Van den Herik moved to Los Angeles to raise her family after meeting and marrying Mohamed Hadid in 1994.

The couple would have three children together: daughters Jelena, 27, also known as Gigi, and Bella, 26, and son Anwar, 23, before divorcing in 2000.
